Walk from Wellington Statue into Wellesley woods

Organiser: Gill, Helen and ValThe walk is through woodland on the Wellesley trails.There are a couple of inclines but they are not long. There are 3 roads to cross on the way and on the way back but none of them are very busy. There are also 4 gates on the way and on the return. There are NO stiles. The paths are fairly wide and generally good. Take A325 from Farnborough heading towards Aldershot. At the Wellington Roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Wellesey Road then turn right into Bourley Road. At the crossroads turn right into Claycart Road.walk - risk assessment for 19.04.2021 issue2.docx

At Walk into Hawley woods from Hawley Memorial Hall
Organiser: Gill, Helen and ValFrom B3272 Hawley Road heading away from Farnborough towards Blackwater turn left at the traffic lights into Fernhill Road . The take the first right into Hawley Green and the carpark is on the left after the entrance to the leisure centre. The walk risk assessment has been added. Getting There: Follow the A325 Farnham-Aldershot Road. Park in the lay-by just off the Six Bells roundabout . It is before the traffic lights /Church in the Aldershot direction (also signposted Daniele Sicilian Restaurant)
The walk is Circa 5 miles through wood and parkland. There are a few inclines so if you use walking poles please bring them.
