The walk  is a 5 mile route starting from the Basingstoke canal Barley Mow car park, Sprat’s Hatch Lane, Winchfield diagonally opposite The Barley Mow pub. What3words reference for the car park is avocado.sharp.recruiter

The walk is 5 miles, mainly flat. There is one hill which is not too steep, a couple of stiles and a short walk along the verge of the A287 because a footpath is no longer traversable. The pub is open for lunch on Wednesdays.  

GETTING THERE :- Take the Aldershot to Fleet road A323. Turn left onto the Aldershot road to Church Crookham. Turn right at the Wyvern Pub into Galley Hill Road . Keep on that road through Crookham village, keep right of the Queens Head pub. Car park approx 1.5 miles on left hand side.
