Ramble

Description: A 5 mile circular walk on the outskirts of the wooded area. Generally level but with two brief climbs. 6 low stiles, 1 kissing gate. Mainly pasture and light woodland. Care will be required on one climb which is likely to be muddy following the recent rains.

 

Directions: Take the A31 to Wrecclesham roundabout, then A325 in Peterfield direction. At Bucks Horn Oak turn left into Dockenfield Street (signposted Dockenfield and Frensham). Go past Alice Holt Visitor Centre on the left and after half a mile turn right into Abbott's Wood (Forestry Commission) car park. Approx 10 miles (20 min) from Ash.
