A Musical Interlude

50 Ash u3a Members enjoyed a ‘concert’ by Jonathon Woodhouse which was an absolute success. He arrived with 5 saxophones and a clarinet and proceeded to give an outstanding and descriptive talk, using each instrument in turn.

Jon also described his teenage years when he joined the Lifeguards and learnt how to ride and then play his instrument while on the move. He had a full career in the Army and on retirement, enjoys playing with groups and bands, and of course spreading pleasure to U3a’s and many other organisations.

The next monthly meeting on 17 February will be a World War One Story of Conflict Loneliness & Love.
