    • Cream Tea!

    Graham and Michelle invited all volunteers, group leaders and the committee to join them for a cream tea as thanks for all their hard work and dedication over the last year. Around 40 accepted the invitation and after the shock wore off we managed to scrape together enough chairs, tables, cups saucers, plates and cutlery to accommodate everyone.

    So at 2.30 on Friday 3 July everyone turned up for a most convivial afternoon.

    105 scones (plus 7 pints of milk, 5 pints of cream, 8 jars of jam, 2 pounds of butter and three bags of flour)
