This follows a landmark UK-France cultural exchange deal after years of planning. The Tapestry will be transferred into an international transport crate in summer 2026 before being handed over to the British Museum. It is hard to overstate the significance of this extraordinary opportunity of displaying it in the United Kingdom.
James will explain the historic events that are portrayed in the Tapestry and its cultural importance. This will be a fascinating talk about a historic item at a time when it will be once again in the public consciousness.
