Help Using Beacon and PayPal

The Ash u3a preferred way of paying for membership is via the online u3a Beacon system.  Using this means you are automatically entered on the u3a Beacon Membership system and the Membership Secretary does not have to enter your details manually. This reduces the risk of an error occurring.

Beacon uses PayPal and you can pay by debit card, credit card or a Pay Pal account if you have one.

To login to Beacon you will need your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password there is an option to reset.

If you have not used Beacon before you have an option to register

After login you have options to renew your membership and update your personal details.

If you opt to renew you will be taken to a screen where you can choose to pay using PayPal or a Credit/Debit card.

Make your selection and follow the on screen instructions.

If you are paying with Credit/Debit card your bank may ask you to authorise the payment. Again, follow the onscreen instructions.

When you have paid you will receive an email acknowledging your renewal.
