Bringing People Together

Line Dancing

This lively new group is doing traditional line dances for enjoyment and exercise. It is choreographed dancing but also a fun form of exercise. It gets your heart pumping, your brain working and your feet tapping, all the while being a fun social activity.  We dance to both Country and Western and also varied current music.

Our class aims to get you acquainted with all the various line dance moves by starting with simple dances, but eventually we hope that everyone will be moving on to bigger and better dances, all lead by an enthusiastic line dancer keen to pass on his knowledge.

The class runs from 2pm until 3pm in St.Paul’s Church Hall, Poyle Road, Tongham and everyone is welcome.  Soft dancing shoes or similar should be worn and please bring yourself a drink. Payments collected are all just to cover the cost of hall hire and work out at approximately £15 per term.

The first few weeks have been great, and we have an enthusiastic core of people but new members will always be welcomed.  Please feel free to come and try out a session.
