Photography Group Annual Competition
We had 26 in attendance for our annual “Members Choice” competition on Friday 12th December. In order to make the competition as open and democratic as possible, all photos were displayed on wall boards and the winners were selected on the basis of a secret ballot by members attending the meeting.
This is Mike Burgess’s prize winning entry – a stunning picture of the Milky Way taken near Swanage with the Avril Point lighthouse in the foreground. It was a 4 minute exposure taken on his Android phone!
The runner up was Paul Halhead with this shot taken of The Cob in Lyme Regis on a stormy day.
