Photography Group October Meeting
We held our second busy meeting of the year on Friday 9th October 2026 with an excellent turnout of over 20 members.
We reviewed members’ submissions on the theme “Geometric Shapes and Patterns”.
A total of 78 photographs were submitted by 26 members, showcasing an impressive variety of interpretations. These ranged from regular, repeating geometric forms in architecture to patterns found in nature, including cacti, dahlias, leaves and succulents. Decorative shapes and patterns featured in ceilings, windows, tiles, mosaics and artworks. Buildings, shadows and reflections also offered some fascinating examples. Other submissions took a more practical approach, interpreting patterns as designs for making a variety of items.
