Poetry for Pleasure

This group meets to read poetry together, to discuss what we read, discover poets old in time but new to some of us and also find out about new voices of the 21^st century. Above all, our aim is to enjoy poetry and sometimes compose our own poems!

Poetry Programme – 2025/2026

Themes for our meetings will be varied and challenging. We shall all take part in searching for poems composed by new and past poets, with particular interest in the younger generation of writers.
