Rowhill Nature Reserve – The Bluebells

Gathered once more in the carpark at the Rowhill Nature Reserve 21 amblers set off in glorious sunshine on the hunt for bluebells. The path took us out of Hampshire into the wilds of Surrey then left at Stickleback Pond. Down the path to the boardwalk and alongside the mighty River Blackwater whose waters rage down the valley. Some bluebells were to be seen but nothing of merit.

Early birds left us lured by the prospect of tea and cake. The main contingent carried on up to the meadow and back down into the jungle.
