Social History Group
Venue, Victoria Hall, Ash Hill Road, Ash,GU12 5DN

We are a group of amateur historians interested in how ordinary people lived rather than the great topics of national and political history. Each month we look at some aspect of social history from any era and place. Some meetings take the form of a talk prepared by a member, sometimes we watch film clips and other times we have an outing to a place of interest either locally or further afield.
The subscription for this Summer term is £5.00 will go towards paying for the speaker.
Free tea/coffee with a selection of biscuits, and refreshments will be organised.
New members always welcome.
The Group is run by a Small Committee of:
Anne Hill, Joan Mead, Pam Jarmain and Peter Barker
