Directions: From Ash Vale Station take the B3411 Frimley Road in direction Mytchett. After approx 1 mile turn right at mini r'about into Mytchett Place Rd. Entrance to Canal Centre is on the left just after bridge over the canal.
The walk: Distance about 5.5 miles. Undulating forest tracks for the first 2.5 miles, then level walking on canal tow path. Two short sections of road walking. No stiles. Should be firm and reasonably dry under foot.
