Garden Visits

This is the Fourth year of this group which was set up for anyone who likes gardening and gardens from the keen amateurs to those who just like to dabble or wander around beautiful gardens.

If this group is for you so please provide suggestions of Gardens you would like to visit within 50 mile radius, could be to public gardens or popping round to a member’s garden for tea and a chat.

The garden visits would will now run from February to October,normally on the last Friday of the month  meeting at the car park opposite the Victoria Hall Ash Hill Road at 10.00 am.

The First and last visits of the year will be a Garden Centre

Will need members of group with cars,and have space to give lifts when necessary.

Last Full year 2019 we have visited  Ramater Gardens,Loseley Park Spring Show & Summer Show, Lenardslee Lake, Savill Gardens.Kew Gardens,Parham House Gardens,The Scupture Park , Wisley Flower Show and the Lovely Woolbeding Gardens,

Last Year 2020  we only managed one visit to Conkers Garden Centre in Basingstoke due to Lock down.

This is a great place to shop. Well stocked garden centre with inexpensive home-grown plants.  Number of in store shops ideal for Christmas shopping also Owtons butchers have a huge variety of high-quality meats, sausages, homemade burgers etc. Extensive Cheese counter, fresh bread, home grown vegetables and general groceries. Nice morning browse then coffee and snacks and to get together for chat for ideas for future garden visits before we leave.
