Equipment Manager

The purpose of this document is to outline the role and responsibilities of the Equipment Manager.

Role summary

To manage the Ash u3a Audio Visual and miscellaneous equipment assets.

Main responsibilities

  • Maintain AV equipment assets in safe, serviceable condition
  • Co-ordinate distribution, use and recovery to safe storage of AV equipment
  • Provide instruction and training on AV equipment use on request
  • Maintain records of who uses and stores miscellaneous equipment
  • Co-ordinate with miscellaneous equipment holders on its condition, safe storage and forecast future requirements
  • Brief Committee on equipment asset status, forecast future requirements and replacement costs
