Rowhill Nature Reserve covers 55 acres on the Aldershot-Farnham border and was once part of a private estate that produced timber and bricks. Signs of both of these old industries are still in evidence.

It has mostly mixed deciduous woodland and working coppice and is also the source of the River Blackwater.

We have the opportunity to enjoy a guided walk with one of the volunteers or just enjoy the reserve. The guided walk is free and will take about an hour.

There are some gentle slopes but nothing too arduous and multiple paths should you with to return to the car park.

The information centre will be open and can provide tea and cake for just £2.50. They also have a small shop selling preserves, chutneys and other crafted items. And there is a book swap if you have any old books you wish to dispose of.

If you enjoy the day they have a donations boot...
