The usual amble will start at 10.15, as normal, and circuit the fishing lake before walking down the canal towpath to the lock and back along the footpath through woodland by the lake. There will be a dip out point after 0.7 mile with the whole thing being about 1.5 miles. The car park is not huge so car share where possible or you may have to park on the canal side of the road but not too near the width restriction.
The Preamble (a slightly faster walk of about a mile) will be along the canal towards Aldershot starting at 09.30, aiming to be back at the car park for the Amble around 10. This is a one off this term to test the water - not literally I hope!
Please let me know if you're going to do this bit as we will move off at 9.30.
The Lake House is now open on a Monday. I will check this.
