GETTING THERE :- Due to roadworks The Street in Tongham is partially closed to traffic. The best route would be through Ash Green , turn right into Poyle Road and, at the end , turn left into The Street and continue into Runfold. Turn left into Crooksbury Road The car park is approximately1.4 miles on the left hand side . The car park is abut 400 yards after the Botany Hill Road and Camp Hill Road turnings. The post code given is only approximate.
WALK DETAILS :-The route - 5.5miles of mainly forest tracks or quiet lanes. There are no stiles and is mainly dry and firm under foot - just the occasional muddy patch. We have to cross a few local roads and the route does have a few moderate climbs.
