Please note Car park for this walk is 19 miles from Ash Vale - approximately 30 minutes drive. So car sharing is recommended.
WINDSOR Great Park – 3 ½ miles, starting on Queen Anne’s Ride, then on to Copper Horse & returning via some of the Long Walk.
Some grass (not long) walking & some on tarmac park road. Mainly flat with a little of gentle incline.
Post Code (nearest) SL4 2BD 19 miles – 30 minutes.
From Ash Vale join the M3 at Frimley towards London.
Take next exit, J3 & turn left on A322 towards Bracknell
1 ¾ miles right onto A332 Ascot
Right fork @ bottom of hill, then 1 mile R’bt (Heathwood Hosp) 2 exit A332 Windsor.
Straight over double mini rb’t.
1 ¼ miles Rb’t 2nd exit A332 Windsor.
Down up short hill, 1/3 mile car park entrance on RIGHT.
Follow road around R H bend.
We will meet along this road where we can all park together.
