I would suggest not wearing shorts as the nettles in places look like they've been on steroids. There are 2 stiles and a few fallen trees to negotiate . There is an awkward climb down from a weir that could be slippery after rain fall. If you use poles bring them.
Getting there :-Coming off the Hogs Back at the Puttenham exit drive along to take A3 south and come off at first exit sign posted Hurtmore / Shackleford and park in the overflow car park of the Squirrel Inn ( it is on the right of the pub as you turn in )
