Directions: From the A325 at Lower Hale take the A3016 (becomes A287 at top of Folly Hill) to Upper Hale and Odiham and continue for approx 2 miles to roundabout at bottom of Beacon Hill. Immediately after roundabout take left fork signposted Crondall and then next left, also signposted Crondall. On reaching the 20mph zone take 2nd left into Church Street. At All Saints Church turn right into Croft Lane and park in road. Meet at entrance to Recreation Ground opposite church.
The walk: Gently undulating open farmland with a couple of lightly wooded areas and a small amount of road walking on quiet country lanes. One flight of downward steps with handrail and one stile. Good underfoot, despite the recent amount of rain.
