Having done the country park walk in July, Marion & Peter have found that you can walk on the other side of the road on what was once the other half of the golf course? I think!
Again, there are choices about which way to go but there are points at which you can return to the café near the car park. Watch this space for a description of the path nearer the time as we're hoping they will have gravelled more by March.
UPDATE - the path has been extended but the work is ongoing. At the weekend it was muddy and slippy in places. Usual warning - suitable footwear and possibly poles?
