Directions:
From Aldershot take the A325 to Farnborough and at the Pinehurst roundabout (Council Offices on the corner) take the 1st exit signed Fleet (A327). At the third roundabout (has an aeroplane on it) turn right into Ively Road (signed A327 Reading). Continue straight across a number of roundabouts and at the Pyestock roundabout take the first exit into Bramshot Lane (sign for Hartland Country Park).The car park is a few hundred yards on your left. Please note the perimeter road around the airport will be closed due to the airshow preparations.
The walk:
A figure of eight of approx 5 miles. The first loop is about 3.5 miles around Fleet pond and the smaller loop is around Hartland Country Park. After the first loop we will be back at the car park so if anyone feels they have had enough (the forecast is for hot weather) they can finish here. There are plenty of seats in the shade during the walk so we can make a few pit stops.
The route is flat with good paths, no stiles and about 80% in the shade. The paths are wide therefore shorts are fine.
