Directions: From Ash go through Tongham and continue to Runfold. At Barfield Prep Sch turn left into Crooksbury Rd at sign for Elstead and The Sands. After approx 1 mile take right into Camp Hill (turning comes suddenly on bend). At junction at bottom of hill go straight on and Waverley Abbey car park is on the left after the rh bend. Park in the area outside Waverley Abbey House gates or just inside.
The Walk: 5.5 miles, fairly easy, mainly on tracks with a couple of short inclines and one longer, shallow incline. Plenty of shade and no stiles. Starts and finishes on a section of road where most of it can be walked on the verge but care needed.
