Where do novelists get their ideas from? In an entertaining and informative talk, Bobbie will explain how a complex world of character, location, plot and sub-plot arrives in a writer's mind. Bobbie is the author of five novels and the winner of the 2008 fiction prize at the National Academy of Writing. She has also had an interesting life in varied employments, all of which give colour to her books.
