An astonishing 38,000 tulips await at Arundel Castle Tulip Festival – one of the largest displays in the country. This annual springtime vision, set in the historic gardens of the medieval castle in West Sussex, gladdens the heart and heralds the promise of warmer weather and our longed-for summer. Exactly when the Arundel Castle tulips will be in full bloom – marking the start of the festival – is, of course, decided by Mother Nature. Visitors will marvel at 70 different types of tulips, including rare and unusual varieties, and different tulips are introduced every year to refresh the display
