Directions: From Ash take the A323 in the Guildford Direction. At the traffic lights about a mile from the Dover roundabout go left onto the A324 Pirbright Rd. Continue to the Royal Oak pub and then take first right onto the B380 Ash Road. Bullswater Common Road is on the left immediately after the entrance to The Pirbright Institute on the right. Park in the lay by (a little way in on the right) or in the road.
The walk: 5.2 miles through woodland, pastures, fields and heath. The walk is level with just one shallow incline. No stiles, three B roads to cross with light traffic. Very dry underfoot at the time of the recce.
