Bringing people together

Healthy Walking

17/05/2021 Relaxation of Coronavirus rules means that any group of up to 30 people can meet outside for exercise  – Formal walk risk assessments are no longer required. However please would all walk leaders : recce their walk and provide information to the group leaders to put on the event entry.  For example –  any gates, stiles, roads to cross,  narrow paths , issues with car parking, etc.  Walks will still need to follow the current guidelines – do not attend if you or someone in your household is displaying symptoms of Covid-19  , please observe social distancing and bring hand sanitiser and a face covering.

PLEASE see further information in Healthy Walking Group Guidelines.

All walks are subject to COVID-19 rules – walks MAY be cancelled at short notice – please check website !

Our walks are relatively easy, about  3 1/2 to 4 miles taking around 1 ½ to 1 ¾ hours at a steady pace. All walks are planned and led by group members and cover various parts of the lovely countryside around Ash. We finish at our starting points which are often pub car parks, or close by, so when Covid 19 regulations allow refreshments can be enjoyed afterwards with friends and group members.
